ACE Stoßdämpfer GmbH, Stand 80
TUBUS blank holder absorber
The innovative TUBUS blank holder absorber finds a new application as an absorber in press tools and replaces the over-worked PU springs. More sheet moulds are being made by faster presses in the automobile industry. When opening the press after the pressing process, the retainer bolts and the actual tool are sustainably protected. The special TUBUS is available for the different retainer screws from M10 to M30. The maximum energy absorption is between 5 and 269 Nm at a low settlement reaction.
Vibration sensor
The vibration sensor detects the delay in a range of 0 - 35 g and works as a “Condition Monitoring Tool”. When exceeding the pre-selected trigger range, a signal is issued as a fault report to the machine control. The V sensor is available as analogue and digital versions with 10 setting levels. Interlocked direct installation in a C-nut or by adapter in a T-nut or dovetail nut is possible.
ACE Calc
ACE is already actively committed to the field of combatting passive vibration with the proven SLAB absorption and vibration plates and currently offers a significant simulation program and vibration measurements on-site. ACE Calc takes a new approach and shows, in the solutions, a variety of vibration isolations for the application case and in the subsequent analysis range, and the insulation and isolation values expected from the selected SLAB version.

Waterkoelmachines voor laserapplicaties
De range van MTA T3 waterkoelmachines voor laserapplicaties is een serie van luchtgekoelde fabrieksgeassembleerde waterkoelmachines met verschillende koelvermogens en een zeer nauwkeurige temperatuurregeling met een differentie van 0,5°K.
Door de plug-and-play methode, kan de T3 Laser nagenoeg overal probleemloos ingezet worden.

Avantes genomineerd voor de High Growth Awards region Oost Nederland!
De High Growth Awards is een jaarlijks terugkerende verkiezing voor Nederlandse ondernemingen die de afgelopen drie jaar flinke omzetgroei hebben gerealiseerd. Voor de vijfde keer organiseert Port4Growth deze uitreiking welke dit jaar zal plaatsvinden op 29 november 2011. Een onafhankelijke jury van succesvolle groeiondernemers en deskundigen beoordeelt de deelnemende bedrijven.
Men strijdt om de titel van beste regionale groeionderneming. Bovendien zullen er ook nog twee themaprijzen te verdelen zijn. De kwalitatieve beoordeling is gebaseerd op het Port4Growth Groeimodel. Avantes BV is een wereldleider op het gebied van spectroscopie.
Vele spectroscopische toepassingen, in tal van markten, zoals medische markt, lichtmeettechniek, halfgeleider industrie, zonne-energie en landbouw zijn reeds in gebruik. Avantes BV ontwikkelt miniatuur spectroscopische systemen voor onderzoek en on-line metingen. De meetopstelling bestaat gebruikelijk uit een lamp, fiberoptische meetsonde en een spectrometer die het licht spectrum analyseert. Avantes launches new high sensitive spectrometer family ‘Avaspec SensLine’
The new high sensitive AvaSpec spectrometer family is in particular designed for the difficult demands of measuring long wavelengths. The AvaSpec SensLine embraces six high sensitive, low noise spectrometers. Four are based on back-thinned detector technology, partly with high performance thermoelectrically cooled detectors. Two come with standard CCD’s upgraded to highest performance through Avantes enhanced unique detector cooling technology. 
The back-thinned CCD-detectors utilized in the AvaSpec SensLine family are high quantum efficiency detectors with excellent response in the UV, VIS and NIR range from 200 to 1160 nm.
The application fields for the AvaSpec Sensline spectrometers are wide, e.g. in fluorescence spectroscopy and low light-level detection applications requiring high sensitivity light detection.
The Ava Spec SensLine are integrated with Avantes’ modular platform, allowing them to function standalone, or as multi-channel intruments. They are also compatible with other AvaSpec product families. The Ava Spec SensLine is available as a stand alone lab instrument or as OEM module
for easy integration into a customers’ existing system.

Polished surfaces from Axxicon can reach roughness values of less than 5nm. Such specific values are critical for optical quality. Uniek voor de kunststofbranche; Vd Berg Kunststofbewerking (BKB) implementeert Grade 2 procedure
Oppervlaktezuiverheid speelt een grote rol bij de productie van onderdelen voor High Tech apparatuur. Hoe ‘schoner’ de onderdelen, hoe minder vervuiling en hoe minder kans op afkeur.
Fabrikanten van bijvoorbeeld chipmachines vragen steeds vaker om Grade 2 (ultraclean) producten. Grade 2 producten kunnen namelijk steeds dichter bij de lichtbron geplaatst worden voor nog nauwkeuriger werken. “Normale” cleanroom producten worden aangegeven met Grade 4.
Op dit moment zijn er nog geen bedrijven die dit kunnen aanbieden voor kunststof onderdelen. BKB is sinds het begin van dit jaar bezig geweest om hiervoor procedures op te stellen zodat wij hieraan wel kunnen voldoen. Het betreft hier een uiterst precisiewerk, waarbij we zelfs tegen onvolkomenheden zijn gestuit aan de kant van de klant.
Omdat grenzen in nauwkeurigheid steeds verder worden verlegd verwachten wij dat steeds meer bedrijven hier om gaan vragen.

CCM has developed the Whistler, a lung function measurement instrument, in co-operation with the UMC-Utrecht and Well Design
The uniqueness of the instrument is its capability of measuring the lung functionality of children starting from the age of weeks. Up till now this was only possible with large and expensive equipment. CCM was capable of incorporating the necessary functionality in a handheld device with an occlusion mechanism and Blue-tooth connection, enabling single occlusion measurements for babies and the Rint measurement for children.
With this technology long diseases can be traced in an early stage, so that effective medical treatment can start in time, preventing life time medical problems like asthma and COPD.
The instrument is capable of measuring breath flows even less than 20 ml/s and pressures in magnitudes of less than 10Pa, making it possible to acquire the airway resistance and compliance of small children.
These features will make early detection of asthma or other pulmonary abnormalities a routine handling for health care takers.
At the moment clinical verification of the instrument is performed at the children hospital of UMC-Utrecht. The market introduction is expected in Q1 of 2012.

De laag is geschikt voor optische instrumenten, lichtabsorberende materialen en decoratieve doeleinden. Het proces leent zich ook voor toepassing in de lucht- en ruimtevaart. Zonder het geheim van de smid prijs te geven verraadt CZL Tilburg een paar kenmerken: bij het oxideren van een nikkelfosforlegering ontstaat een diepzwarte laag die UV-bestendig, elektrisch geleidend én slijtvast is. Nieuwe laserinstallatie voor Custom Special Tools
Tijdens de Precisiebeurs informeert Custom Special Tools u graag over haar mogelijkheden met de nieuwe Trumpf laserlasser die recentelijk aan het bestaande machinepark is toegevoegd. Deze moderne installatie heeft een ‘teachable’ bereik van één kubieke meter en is daarmee meteen koploper in gestuurd bereik. Een ander belangrijk pluspunt van de derde laserlasinstallatie voor Custom Special Tools, is de extreme nauwkeurigheid. De installatie is uitgerust met de ‘puls-shaping’ technologie die borg staat voor de hoogste mate van nauwkeurigheid van dit moment. De bediening kent drie opties, handmatig, teachable en CNC-gestuurd. Opdrachtgevers krijgen als zekerheid mee dat de massa en het volume van de te bewerken onderdelen geen enkele belemmering vormen.

Geavanceerd steekgereedschap verkort doorlooptijd en bespaart kosten
Schwarzer GmbH ontwikkelt en bouwt steekgereedschappen waarmee op CNC-draaimachines met hoge snelheid en precisie sleuven met uiteenlopende profielen kunnen worden aangebracht. Schwarzer wordt in Nederland vertegenwoordigd door Ertec Handling & Automation.

Bij de bewerking blijft de gereedschaprevolver in zijn geprogrammeerde positie en maakt geen enkele beweging in Z-richting. De slag van het steekgereedschap wordt bepaald door de gereedschapaandrijving van de machine. In de X-richting van de gereedschaprevolver vindt een continue voeding plaats. De verdraaiing die nodig is om een bepaald profiel van de sleuf te verkrijgen kan vrij worden gekozen; positionering gebeurt via de C-as van de gereedschapsspil. Deze werkwijze heeft vele voordelen. Vergeleken met andere methoden zoals eroderen, brootsen en frezen is de bewerkingstijd veel korter. |
Een van de Nederlandse bedrijven die al veel ervaring met het steekgereedschap van Schwarzer heeft opgedaan is De Gier Drive Systems te Wateringen. De Gier schafte in april via Ertec een Schwarzer steekgereedschap aan voor een CTV 160 verticaal draaicentrum van Gildemeister. Productieleider Arco van der Lely: "We gebruiken het gereedschap voor het aanbrengen van spiebanen in tandwielen. Dat levert, bij een productie van tien- tot twaalfduizend tandwielen per jaar, een behoorlijk tijd- en kostenvoordeel op.

Nieuwe graveertechnologie voor verspanende machines
Het Zwitserse Gravostar heeft een nieuwe technologie op de markt gebracht voor het graveren van werkstukken. . Door het afrollen van een hardmetalen kogel over het oppervlak van het product ontstaat er een braamvrije gravering met de volgende kenmerken:
• Zeer hoge kwaliteit
• Door het rollen ontstaan geen spanen
• Eenvoudig inzetbaar op alle verspanende machines
• Hardmetalen naald is zeer slijtvast
• Voor alle materialen tot 60 HRC te gebruiken
• Eventuele oneffenheden (tot wel 4 mm ) worden automatisch gecompenseerd
doordat de naald met voorspanning op het materiaal wordt gedrukt.
Dit compacte gereedschap kan zeer eenvoudig via de gereedschapswisselaar van de machine meegenomen worden. De gravering kan eenvoudig als bewerkingsstap geprogrammeerd worden. Hierdoor is geen extra bewerkingsstap buiten de machine nodig en komt het product in
dezelfde opspanning van de machine inclusief de gravering
Er zijn drie typen leverbaar:
RMB-12 compacte uitvoering speciaal voor kleinere verspaningsmachines fijne graveringen
RMB-20 standaard uitvoering voor middelgrote tot grote verspaningsmachines middelgrote graveringen
RB-20 universeel inzetbaar door instelbare veerdruk instelbaar voor alle materialen
Andere technologieën bij het graveren zijn:
Impulsgestuurde naald ( 300 slagen per minuut ) die gravering d.m.v. materiaalverdichting aanbrengt.
De naald wordt door een voorspanning in het materiaal gedrukt en door het materiaal te verdichten en te verdringen wordt gravering aangebracht.

FARO introduceert de FARO Edge & Edge ScanArm
De FARO Edge is een draagbare meetarm waarmee bedrijven zowel via een taster als via contactloze laserscans gemakkelijk de kwaliteit van hun producten kunnen controleren aan de hand van inspecties, certificering van gereedschappen, CAD-to-part analyses en reverse engineering.
De nieuwe Edge beschikt als eerste over een geïntegreerde, persoonlijke meetassistent. De Edge biedt de mogelijkheid van stand-alone standaardmetingen en revolutioneert met zijn ingebouwde touchscreen en beschikbare besturingssysteem de draagbare metrologie. Om snel en eenvoudig afmetingen te controleren of met de ingebouwde diagnosefuncties het systeem te optimaliseren, is niet langer een laptop nodig.
De volledig nieuwe FARO Laser Line Probe biedt ongeëvenaarde contactloze meetmogelijkheden. Vision-controlled motion: maximale nauwkeurigheid tegen lage kosten
Om de productiekosten binnen nauwe grenzen te houden, is het onder meer noodzakelijk om kritisch te kijken naar de kosten die verband houden met inspectieprocessen. Eén manier om dit doel te bereiken is door in het betreffende handligsysteem kostenefficiënte tandriemaandrijvingen toe te passen in plaats van de duurdere alternatieven zoals spindelaandrijvingen of lineaire motoren.
De innovatieve handlingsystemen van Festo zijn dan ook uitgerust met deze high speed tandriemaandrijvingen, in bepaalde applicaties voorzien van intelligente smartcamera’s. Deze camera’s zijn uitgevoerd met geïntegreerde controllers die nauwkeurig de positioneerbewegingen analyseren en de mechanische toleranties aan het eind van de afgelegde weg elimineren. Uiteindelijk leidt dit tot een hoge eindnauwkeurigheid en lage kosten voor het complete systeem.

Het CPX Motion Platform; Een nieuwe kijk op installatie concepten
De elektrische CPX-terminal is compatibel met alle gangbare veldbus en Ethernet systemen en met bedrijfsspecifieke installatiestandaarden. Met een keus uit drie installatieconcepten reduceert hij de cyclustijden met 30% en het persluchtverbruik tot 50%. Met zijn uitgebreide arsenaal van geïntegreerde pneumatische, elektrische en aandrijvingsfuncties kan hij systeemkosten met 20% verminderen en de installatietijd terugbrengen met maximaal 60%. Aansturing van elektrische assen In het CPX-systeem kunnen diverse speciale modulen worden geïntegreerd voor het aansturen van aandrijvingsfuncties of voor veiligheids- of diagnostische functies. Met de CPX in combinatie met een CoDeSys front-end controller is het mogelijk een besturing voor directe installatie op de machine te realiseren; dit beperkt de installatiekosten en opent de mogelijkheid van pre-processing of zelfs volkomen autonome aansturing door de machine.

VUVG-magneetventielen
De nieuwe VUVG-magneetventielen van Festo hebben door het grote aantal varianten een breed inzetgebied. Door de combinatie van de compacte bouwvorm en de zeer grote luchtdoorlaat kan één VUVG-ventiel gemakkelijk twee andere ventielen vervangen. Testhuis van IPS Technology krijgt ISTA certificering
ISTA geldt als dé internationale organisatie op het gebied van beoordeling en certificering van laboratoria die verpakte goederen testen. De IPS test engineers waren al gecertificeerd. ISTA heeft daar nu een belangrijk ‘diploma’ aan toegevoegd. Namelijk die van het IPS testhuis als geheel.
IPS blijft er nuchter onder, want het certificaat komt niet als een verrassing. Al vanaf de allereerste dag werkt IPS conform de meest strenge normen en door het certificaat is de kwaliteit van testen onveranderd.
Toch mag het belang voor opdrachtgevers van IPS niet worden onderschat. Dat is niet alleen te danken aan de zekerheid die het certificaat hen biedt, maar ook aan het vertrouwen dat het aan verzekeringsmaatschappijen biedt. Verzekeraars zijn maar wat blij als de kans op schade tijdens transport aanzienlijk wordt verminderd. Onze testresultaten leiden tot lagere schade-uitkeringen en dat leidt weer tot een verlaging of lagere stijging van premies. De investering in onze testprogramma’s wordt op die manier dubbel en dwars terugverdiend.
Kostenbesparingen zijn mooi, maar voor opdrachtgevers is tevredenheid van hun klanten belangrijker. Want zelfs als de schade vergoed wordt, geldt: niemand zit te wachten op producten die beschadigd of op een andere wijze onvolmaakt arriveren. Toch?

The powerful technology shapes any desired metal part geometry by laser melting metal powder layer by layer. This digital approach challenges traditional metalworking practices by producing the optimum shape of complex circulation parts in a single manufacturing step. Such parts exhibit better performance, functionality and reliability than their predecessor assemblies, using less material and no scrap.
The most complex part shapes can be produced, including recess, ribs, cavities and internal features. LayerWise masters Metal Additive Manufacturing to such an extent that it’s able to perfect the technology and realize the most challenging specifications. We are able to produce with 15 micron geometric accuracy and build up walls as thin as 200 micron.
Typical industrial applications cover complex circulation parts as well as tool inserts with conformal cooling. The production process has been optimized for a variety of metals and alloys, such as rust-proof steel, hardenable steel, titanium, aluminium and inconel.
In addition to fast-turnaround metal prototypes, LayerWise is able to simultaneously produce metal parts of different shapes in series of up to 2500 pieces. This explains LayerWise’s favorable unit prices and short delivery times.

For 15 years Maan Group from Raalte has been manufacturing adhesive systems in the Netherlands. Through the years, Maan has specialize itself also in the areas of bonding and surface treatment. This has led to a new course for Maan, where glue is still central. Especially for the exhibition, the business unit Engineering developed "The Glue-Dipper" to show the activities of the Group to the public in a creative way.

Maan operates from the vision that through bonding, all materialistic (precision) compounds can be connected in a sustainable way. The three business units of Maan have their own specialty and together they can achieve the Group's objectives.

"The Glue-Dipper"
Maan has developed for customers an aluminium strips containing an adhesive layer with a thickness from 5 microns. When the aluminium is heated, the adhesive will melt again. If a product is pushed on the foil, a precisely metered amount of adhesive is transferred to the product and then the product can be glued without any additional equipment or spilling. This process is presented to the public through "The Glue-Dipper".

maxon motor lanceert met de EC 22 HD, als eerste ter wereld, een standaard motor voor extreem zware omstandigheden. Ontwikkeld om aan de uitzonderlijk hoge eisen in de deep drilling technologie te voldoen. De motor maakt het mogelijk op tot nu toe ontoegankelijke boordieptes olie en gas te winnen. De temperatuur en druk die voorkomt op deze diepte, in combinatie met de hoge trillingen veroorzaakt door het boorproces, vormen een grote uitdaging voor de elektrische aandrijvingen. De motoren zijn ontworpen om weerstand te bieden aan temperaturen van meer dan 200°C (390°F), een atmosferische druk tot 1.700 bar (25.000 psi) en weerstaan trillingen tot 25 grms, evenals een impuls en schok tot 100 G (100 maal de gravitatie). Met een hoog rendement, in de lucht tot 88% en in olie meer dan 70%, is de motor zeer geschikt voor bijvoorbeeld batterij-aangedreven toepassingen.

make this new series ideal for complex areas of application like robotics, automation, medical and laboratory technology, specialty machinery and aerospace.
The drives are based on the flexible and easy to use FAULHABER motion control platform.
The compact motion controller, which fits within the diameter of the motor, combined with
the motor and a full range of gearhead combinations provides a versatile modular platform
for a variety of applications. The drives are available with a RS-232 serial or CAN interface.
Configuring the drives is simple using the free FAULHABER Motion Manager 4.4 software.
The drives have a wide operational temperature range from -25°C to 85°C a provide a
continuous current up to 0,69 A with a peak of up to 3A. The speed can be precisely
controlled from down to 5 rpm and up to 8000 rpm. Custom firmware and software are
available on request. All of the drives have factory preset current limits to protect the
motor and electronics during normal operation. Upon request the drives can be supplied
with separate motor and electronics voltage supply connections.
The new series are available in two different motor lengths of 32 mm and 50 mm with a supply voltage of 24VDC. The very flat slope of the linear torque to speed curve and the extremely high torque to volume ratio of the motors with up to 18 mNm respectively 35 mNm continuous
duty torque make these drives unique in combination with a motion controller.

Het toch al uitgebreide modellen aanbod Vision meetmachines heeft Mitutoyo nu verder compleet gemaakt met de introductie van de Hybride QV-TP. Deze Hybride beeldverwerkingsmeetmachine beschikt naast het bekende, hoogwaardige optische systeem voor contactloze metingen, nu ook over een tactiel systeem in de vorm van een TP-20 of TP-200 schakelende taster.
Gecombineerd contactloos en tactiel meten
Vanaf nu kunnen dus ook producten die niet volledig contactloos gemeten konden worden met de QV, door gebruikmaking van een schakelend tastsysteem op 1 machine en in 1 meetcyclus volledig worden gecontroleerd. Om het tastsysteem optimaal te kunnen inzetten behoort het gebruik van een tasterwisselrek voor het volledig automatisch wisselen van de taststift, uiteraard tot de mogelijkheden.
Nieuwe software voor optimaal gebruiksgemak
De bekende QVPAK software is aangepast en voorzien van de benodigde functionaliteit voor het aansturen van het nieuwe tastsysteem. Door gebruikmaking van een handige kalibratietool met ring en referentiekogel, wordt rekentechnisch het optisch systeem en het tactiele tastsysteem aan elkaar gekoppeld, zodat contactloze en tactiele metingen probleemloos en zonder nieuwe uitrichting van het werkstuk, door elkaar heen gebruikt kunnen worden.
QV3DCAD on-line
Met de nieuwe software QV3DCAD online, kan de gehele meetcyclus voor zowel contactloze als ook tactiele metingen worden geprogrammeerd met ondersteuning van het 3D CAD model van het werkstuk.Puur gebruiksgemak dus.
Het schakelende tastsysteem kan per direct geleverd worden op de Quick Vision ELF en Apex modellen, waardoor meetbereiken in XY richting van 250x 200 t/m 600x650mm afgedekt worden.

Ruwheidsmeting – SJ-500P:
Op het gebied van ruwheidsmeting wordt de SJ-500P geïntroduceerd. Dit is de PC uitvoering van de vorig jaar geïntroduceerde en inmiddels zeer populaire SJ-500 ruwheidsmeter. Door deze compacte, voor werkplaats- en meetkamergebruik geschikte ruwheidsmeter te voorzien van een PC en software Formtracepak, worden de gebruiksmogelijkheden nog verder uitgebreid. Zo kan men gebruik maken van de veelzijdige lay-out editor om geheel naar eigen wens een duidelijke rapportage te maken om uit te printen of in PDF formaat op te slaan.
Combinatie ruwheid en contour – CS-3200 Formtracer:
De splinternieuwe Formtracer CS-3200 combineert 2 disciplines in 1 meetinstrument. Zonder wisseling van de meetunit wordt in 1 meting alle data verzameld voor ruwheids- en contouranalyse. De stationaire CS-3200 heeft een groot meetbereik van 100mm in X en 10mm* in Z richting en is daardoor breed inzetbaar.

Rondheidsmeting – RA-1600 en RA-2200:
De nieuwe RA-1600 en RA-2200 zetten de standaard voor nauwkeurigheid in hun klasse. Beide machines zijn uitgerust met een hoogprecisie luchtgelagerde draaitafel met een ongekende rondloopnauwkeurigheid van 0,02 µm. De RA-1600 is de compacte machine waarmee diameters tot Ø 280mm afgetast kunnen worden bij een maximale hoogte van 300mm. De RA-2200 is de grote broer met geïntegreerd luchtgeveerd onderstel en een meetbare diameter van Ø 300mm bij een maximale hoogte van 500mm.
Hardheidsmeting – HR-100, 200, 300 en 400 serie:
Maar liefst 5 nieuwe hardheidstesters zijn toegevoegd aan de productgroep hardheidstesters. Deels ter vervanging van “oude”-modellen, maar ook volledig nieuwe machines. De HR-110MR is de basismachine voor Rockwell metingen. De HR-430MS is de digitale uitvoering geschikt voor zowel Rockwell als Superficial Rockwell metingen. Vanaf de HR-200 serie wordt de testbelasting motorisch aangebracht, wat zeer betrouwbare en reproduceerbare meetresultaten oplevert. Bovendien zijn de HR-300 en 400 modellen digitaal uitgevoerd voor optimaal gebruiksgemak.

SICK op de Precisiebeurs 2011
Tijdens de Precisiebeurs toont SICK de nieuwste ontwikkelingen op het gebied van meten en positioneren. Bijvoorbeeld de displacement sensor OD Precision geschikt voor high-speed applicaties tot 10 kHz. De OD Precision range omvat acht sensorkop varianten voor vijf verschillende meetbereiken – van de korteafstanduitvoering (24 - 26 mm) tot de langeafstanduitvoering (300 – 700 mm). Binnen de groep voor de korte afstand zijn zowel uitvoeringen met een extreem kleine lichtspot als met een brede lichtlijn leverbaar. Toepassing van een brede lichtlijn zorgt voor stabiliteit over een groter gebied en elimineert factoren die de nauwkeurigheid kunnen beïnvloeden zoals krassen en kleine oneffenheden op het oppervlak.
Tevens aandacht voor Vision-noviteiten zoals de ColorRangerE: de high-speed 3D-camera die kleur, contrast, volume en laserscatter herkent. Door zowel de 3D beelden als de kleur van voorwerpen of oppervlaktes te meten, kunnen nog betere en betrouw-baarder inspecties bij volledige productiesnelheid tegelijkertijd worden uitgevoerd. Waar tot nu toe meerdere visioncamera’s voor nodig waren, daar volstaat nu één systeem. Kosten voor hardware, integratie en onderhoud worden hierdoor gedrukt.

Met de “EDGE”- technologie introduceert SigmaControl SIGMATEK’s nieuwe generatie “high performance controls” met laag stroomverlies. Om een ETV HMI-interface te kunnen bedienen met een iPAD is op de stand een live praktijkvoorbeeld uit te proberen.
Eveneens speciaal voor de precisiebeurs geconfigureerd; een draaiend demonstratiemodel van een picker die wordt aangestuurd met modules (VST011) die stappenmotoren tot een maximum van 5 Ampère kunnen aansturen. 
Het demonstratiemodel is ontworpen naar voorbeeld van de SDR 100, een door SigmaControl / SIGMATEK ontwikkelde delta robot voor pick & place toepassingen in de verpakkings-, handling- en assemblage industrie.

Compact 6D Manipulator for Microassembly
The SmarPod 70.42 is a nanomanipulator for applications where up to six degrees of freedom are required. This includes the assembly of microlenses, microarrays, fibres, etc.
Despite the compact design (70mm diameter, 42mm height) the SmarPod 70.42 provides relatively large travel ranges: 11mm for planar translation, 6mm for vertical translation, 20° for tilting and 30° for rotation. Due to the integrated nano encoders and piezo-based SmarAct actuators the SmarPod 70.42 can move with high resolution and repeatability - completely free of backlash.
The SmarPod 110.45-S provides a resolution of 1nm and a repeatability of single nanometers for short travels (100nm). Furthermore, the SmarPod 110.45 is available for different environments like high vacuum and ultra-high vacuum.
The SmarPod 70.42 is controlled by the SmarAct MCS controller that is connected to a PC via USB. It comes with a DLL and a LabVIEW driver as well as a graphical user interface. The DLL allows to move the SmarPod 70.42 in Cartesan coordinates and to define a virtual pivot point, which is especially useful for 
eucentric rotations, e.g. around the tip of a fibre.

Nieuwe Generatie Lineairmodule LLZ
Nieuw bij Stamhuis Lineairtechniek is de LLZ-60, een telg uit de nieuwe generatie kostefficiënte tandriem aandrijvingen van Bahr Modultechnik.
Aan het ontwerp valt direct op dat een omkeerpoelie in het profiel weggewerkt is, waardoor de ruimte optimaal gebruikt wordt en er een maximale slaglengte mogelijk is bij minimale inbouwlengte.
De kenmerkende eigenschappen van de door Bahr geproduceerde tandriemmodules vindt u ook weer terug in de LLZ; zo is de poelie en de aandrijfas uit 1 stuk vervaardigd waardoor er minder onderdelen gebruikt worden en er een stijvere aandrijfconstructie ontstaat.
Bijkomend voordeel is dat hierdoor de afstand tussen motor en poelie significant korter wordt, waardoor een maximale dynamiek mogelijk is.
Voor de geleiding wordt er gebruikt gemaakt van een nieuw ontwikkelde loopwagen waarbij looprollen over ronde geslepen assen ín het profiel lopen. Hierdoor worden ze niet direct blootgesteld aan de omgeving.
De loopwagen blijft licht en soepel bewegen.
De lineairmodules van Bahr zijn in elke gewenste slaglengte leverbaar.
De levertijd van deze units bedraagt ca. 3 werkweken.

Effectief meten met de nieuwe profielrailgeleiding met geïntegreerde lineair encoder
Stamhuis Lineairtechniek is er in geslaagd om een meetsysteem te integreren in een bestaand product, namelijk in de SBI profielrailgeleiding van het merk SBC.
Naast de compacte inbouwmaten is een andere belangrijke eigenschap dat de levertijden voor dit systeem kort zijn.
En doordat er direct op de rail gemeten wordt, kunnen eventuele meetfouten tot een minimum worden beperkt.
Door het aanpassen van een bestaand product, wat op voorraad gehouden wordt, kunnen de kosten relatief laag blijven. Ook zijn er geen extra kostbare voorzieningen en montagehandelingen nodig zoals bij een extern meetsysteem.
Het meetsignaal komt tot stand doordat een differentiaalsensor reageert op de magneetvelden van de meetband, waarbij tijdens het bewegen over de schaal een sinus- en cosinussignaal ontstaat. Deze analoge signalen worden vervolgens intern geïnterpoleerd naar resoluties tot 1 µm.Dit systeem is leverbaar vanaf bouwgrootte 25.

The bushes of a hose connection becomes rounder through thinwall butting, because the bush is being pressed together over the whole diameter in one press stroke. Because of this, the mould better absorbs the bush during insert moulding. The result: less over moulding, no plastic particles on the inside, an almost perfectly distributed tension, a better quality and reliability and a reduction of 25% on product and process costs.
In Future: Drive trains
By using this new technic there will be possibilities to reduce the weight and space, we must think at push belts and pull chains. When we reduce the centrifugal forces, we can develop a lighter construction, and reduce the centrifugal force when we will go smaller with the diameter, to lengthen the life of these chains. Metalen, keramische materialen en sommige kunststoffen kunnen gegraveerd worden met een laser. De vermogensdichtheid is zodanig hoog dat een gedeelte van het materiaal spontaan verdampt. Het verwijderde materiaal laat een verdieping achter in het materiaal – de gravering.
Door interactie tussen het gesmolten werkstukmateriaal en de omgevingslucht is het mogelijk dat oxiden ontstaan, die de gravering een beter contrast zullen geven.
Daarnaast heeft het lasergraveren ook een belangrijke plaats ingenomen bij het vervaardigen van stempels, spuitgietvormen en matrijzen. Vaak zal hier gebruik gemaakt worden van diepgravures, die enkele tienden van millimeters kunnen bedragen.

ZME Fijnmechanisch Atelier uit Utrecht heeft de eerste 8 assen bestuurde Willemin model 508 MT besteld bij Boelens Machines bv. Met de uitbreiding van het machinepark met deze Willemin is ZME nu een grote stap vooruit op de concurrentie omdat ze met deze machine alle hoogwaardige bewerkingen kunnen maken in één opspanning. Willemin is een Zwitserse fabrikant met frees- en draai- mogelijkheden in een machine met zeer hoge precisie.
