MI-Partners is a centre of expertise in the field of mechatronics and is actively involved in the development of high-tech mechatronic systems. New concepts are defined based on extensive experience, creative thinking and combining knowledge from different markets. Predictive modeling in an early stage indicates final performance of the concept.

We proudly present an example of this way of working at our booth. For seismic monitoring the ground is excited with a vibrator. Commercially available systems use hydraulics to create the required forces. For the excitation at low frequencies (2-5 Hz), the non-linear behaviour of the hydraulics is the limiting factor in the performance. Therefore, a new vibrator, based on linear motor technology was developed.
